However, it can be taken into account in the final section The final section can add 1, add 0, or subtract 1 to the final score. Games that excel in both areas of a section don’t receive should be noted in the written review, but cannot increase the score past 2 in that section. This allows games to be based on their own merits, as many unnecessary features are shoehorned into video games by publishers to reach a “feature quota”. For example, if a game has a lousy single player campaign, but an excellent multiplayer component, that section will be based solely on the multiplayer as if the single player did not exist. These particular sections will be scored based on the stronger part of the game of the two. Notice that 3 of these sections have two parts. The first 5 sections are Single Player/Multi Player, Gameplay, Visuals/Story, Accessibility/Longevity, and Pricing. The first five sections can add a possible 2 points to the final score. The review score will change as the game gets new dlc, drops in price, or if more secrets are found through the game increasing its appeal. It is impossible to have a score above 10 or below 0. The review score is based out of 10 points. This guideline also gives scores that are usually similar to the metacritic score. This guideline addresses these problems and scores games fairly and consistently. This results in wildly different scores between different reviewers, and vastly different scores between similar games. Many reviewers like to get a “feel” for a game, and arbitrarily give a game a score that they believe it deserves.

Single Player/Multi Player (2/2) (If the single player is better than the multiplayer, review this section as if it had no multplayer) (If the multiplayer is better than the multiplayer, review this section as if it had no single player) Overall, I would recommend this game to anyone and everyone, but especially if you like open ended, sandbox type games or if you are looking for something to entertain you for days, weeks, or months.for the low price of $10, it is totally worth it.

and just when you think that you have done it all or seen it all, you find something new, or they add content (which is free btw). Terraria is way more in depth, with more options, more things to craft, do, explore, build, fight, etc. Now sure, are there things that are a "clone" of Minecraft? Not even close.

Minecraft is baby town frolics in comparison. And anyone that says that Terraria is a Minecraft ripoff needs to really compare the two games with a bit more depth. The 2-D, side scrolling, 16-bit SNES feel of the game is one of the awesome things about it.lots of nostalgia and comfort in this kind of setting for people in my age group. So many people can't get past the fact that it is 2-D with a 16-bit look to it.which is ridiculous.while other people put it down for being "another Minecraft ripoff".also completely ridiculous. It starts off kind of slow while you learn how to build, craft items, and explore the map.but once you get going it's extremely hard to put this game down.
